The story
I came to movement the way most athletes do — early, naturally, and without thinking much about it. I was a collegiate athlete. My body was something I trained, something I competed with, something I pushed.
After school, life got more complicated. Graduate school. A career. Adult responsibilities stacking on top of each other. And somewhere in the middle of building a life, I stopped moving in the way that had always grounded me.
I didn't just lose my fitness. I lost a version of myself I didn't realize I'd been carrying.
That experience became the foundation for everything NuraMoves is built on. Not because I want to tell that story forever — but because I meet that woman every single week. She's accomplished. She's driven. She's put herself on the back burner for so long that she's not even sure where to start.
I built the Foundation Method because the standard fitness industry approach doesn't work for her. Generic programming. One-size-fits-all intensity. The assumption that if you just "work hard enough" it'll stick. None of that accounts for what her actual life looks like.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Health & Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from UCLA. I'm a certified personal trainer. But the credential that matters most is this: I've worked through what my clients are working through, and I've built something that actually helps.
The goal isn't transformation for its own sake. The goal is feeling like yourself again — and then building from there.
I work with a small number of clients at a time. That's not a limitation — it's the point. This kind of coaching requires presence, attention, and a real relationship. I want to know how your week went, why last Tuesday was hard, what shifted in your body this month. That's how this works.
If you're ready to stop waiting for the right moment and start building something that lasts, I'd love to hear from you.
